Department of Arabic Language Holds First Meeting of New Academic Year

The Department of Arabic Language held its first meeting of the new academic year 24 – 2025 on Friday, July 5, 2024, under the chairmanship of Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Awf, Head of the Department.

Dr. Awf welcomed the faculty members and thanked them for their efforts during the summer semester, stressing the need to continue the same approach and the distinguished level of the Department of Arabic Language, which has become a model of excellence in the Faculty of Arts and the university as a whole.

Dr. Awf recommended that faculty members prepare well for the academic material, encouraging student participation and focusing on the academic material within the framework of the course syllabus. He also stressed the need for active participation in discussions related to the department, and regular implementation of the department's plan in terms of delivering lectures and related tasks.

The Head of the Department emphasized the need to take the initiative in proposing ideas and activities that contribute to achieving the department's goals and objectives.

The meeting witnessed the participation of faculty members with ideas, discussions, and interventions that focused on the recommendations of the Head of the Department.
