Approval of Two Research Plans for Two Students

A scientific committee from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, chaired by Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Abu Zaid, the head of the department, has approved two research plans for two doctoral students. The first research plan was prepared by student Abbas Shu'aib Hasan, focusing on societal responsibility in modern Arabic literature, both poetry and prose. The second plan was prepared by student Omar Mohammed Ahmed Rizqallah, studying meta-poetry in the poetic discourse of Mohammed Ibrahim Yaqoub through a critical analytical study.

The plans were approved after being discussed in a seminar session held under the supervision of the Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, at the main center of the College of Arts and Humanities, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 10 PM Mecca time.

The discussion committee consisted of its chair, Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Abu Zaid, and members: Dr. Al-Nasser Ammar ahri, Dr. Sahar Tal'at Al-Samadi, Dr. Imad Ali Ahmed, Dr. Tamer Al-Sayed Al-Qazzaz, and Dr. Omar Saleh Shuqirat.
