College of Arts Publishes First Issue of "Journal of Arts and Humanities"
The College of Arts and Humanities at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main center, has published the first issue of the peer-reviewed journal "Journal of Arts and Humanities" on Monday, December 17, 2024, which contains 11 research papers spanning 445 pages.
This issue is dedicated to the topic of "Arab Identity of Palestine" and includes a section listing the editorial board, the advisory committee members, a publication guideline, and a table of contents indicating the contents of the second section, which features the editorial and the research papers, all presented in Arabic except for one paper published in English.
The titles of the published papers in this issue are:

- "Roots of the Arab-Israeli Conflict and Its Implications for the Middle East" by Dr. Faiza Mohammed Khattab
- "The American Zionist Lobby and Its Role in Establishing the Zionist Entity" by Dr. Nabawiya Ahmed Abdulhafiz
- "Heritage and Its Role in Rooting Palestinian Identity - The Olive Trees as a Model" by Dr. Siham Abdulbaqi
- "The Gaza Crisis Between the Eastern Axis and Western Interests and International Stance" by Dr. Shaimaa Khattab
- "Gaza and the Reshaping of the Middle East Map" by Dr. Mohammed Saeed Salah Athameneh
- "The Flood of Al-Aqsa" by Dr. Hind Mahrous
- "An English paper titled "Jews and Their View of the Nations (Goyim) in Light of Biblical Texts" by Dr. Ismail Hamid Ismail.
The journal is edited by Professor Abdulbaqi Al-Sayed Abdulhadi Al-Qattan, with Dr. Solaf Faid Allah serving as the managing editor, supported by seven other editorial members, and an advisory board consisting of 13 academics headed by Dr. Ismail Hamed Ismail, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities.
The editorial written by the editor-in-chief, Professor Abdulbaqi Al-Sayed Abdulhadi Al-Qattan, discusses the realistic and scientific reasons that led the editorial board to dedicate this first issue to the topic of "Arab Identity of Palestine." The editorial also includes acknowledgments to the university administration and the working team.
It is noteworthy that the publication of the first issue of the "Journal of Arts and Humanities" follows the release of the first issues of the "Journal of Islamic Studies," "Journal of Economics and Business Administration," and "Journal of Sharia and Law," as well as seven issues of the "Minnesota International Journal of Academic Studies."
