Political Science Department Holds Meeting

The Political Science Department of the College of Arts and Humanities at the Islamic University of Minnesota held a meeting chaired by the new department head, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Atiyah, on Tuesday, Jumada al-Akhirah 16, 1446 AH, corresponding to December 17, 2024.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech from the department head, who greeted the faculty members, especially the new ones. During the meeting, the discussion focused on the criteria and dimensions of the educational process, as well as the academic description of courses and curricula. Additionally, the evaluation of faculty members was addressed according to the standards set by the Quality and Development Committee.

At the end of the meeting, the department head expressed gratitude to all faculty members, and the atmosphere was filled with mutual respect, love, and camaraderie. The meeting concluded at 8 PM Mecca time.

Attending the meeting were the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ismail Hamid, along with several faculty members, including Dr. Baha Eldin, Dr. Emad Eldin, Dr. Howaida Mohamed, Dr. Hadi Barham, Dr. Salem Suwailem Al-Hinai, Dr. Mohammed Abdulkarim, Dr. Hind Mahrous Al-Jaldawi, Dr. Mohammed Maghawry, Dr. Asmaa Ghanimat, Dr. Zainab Al-Bakri, and Ms. Samira Al-Saghir, the administrative affairs officer of the College of Arts and Humanities.
