Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Reviews Semester Closure and Preparations for the Next Term

The Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Islamic University of Minnesota – Main Center, held an important meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, chaired by Dr. Bushra Sharif, Head of the Department, with the participation of faculty members and the Administrative Affairs Director, Ms. Hanadi Abdullah. The meeting focused on concluding the current semester and preparing for the upcoming one.

Dr. Bushra Sharif opened the session with welcoming remarks, highlighting the importance of completing courses, ensuring accuracy and fairness in final examinations, and reviewing the academic plan and teaching materials for the next semester in line with college standards, to guarantee the quality of the educational process.

The meeting addressed several key issues, including course completion, reviewing and organizing final exams, early preparation for the next semester, and discussing the main challenges faced by faculty members.

Faculty members shared their perspectives on the obstacles encountered, and a set of recommendations and proposals were recorded to be submitted to the Dean and Vice Dean of the College of Computing and Information Technology for further action.

The meeting concluded with words of appreciation from Dr. Bushra Sharif, who praised the cooperation and efforts of the faculty, wishing them continued success and excellence.
