Deputy President Appoints Dr. Nabila Masoud as Head of Early Childhood Education Department
The Deputy President of the Islamic University of Minnesota issued a decision on Thursday, June 27, 2024, to appoint Dr. Nabila Masoud as Head of the Early Childhood Education Department in the College of Educational Sciences.
Dr. Nabila Saleh Mohammed Masoud is a Yemeni academic residing in Saudi Arabia and holds the rank of Assistant Professor. She holds a doctorate in Curriculum and Teaching Methods from the Islamic University of Minnesota, USA, and a Master's in Curriculum and Teaching Methods from the same university.
Dr. Nabila has authored three published books: The Little Explorer (a scientific series for developing higher-order thinking skills in children), The Smart Strategy for Teaching Children Reading and Writing, and Let's Read (an interactive book for teaching children reading skills).
She has worked as an Assistant Professor of Modern Teaching Strategies in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods, College of Educational Sciences, Islamic University of Minnesota, as an Assistant Professor at Al-Hikma University, and as an Educational Supervisor at Al-Irtiqa Schools for Girls in Sana'a, Yemen.
Dr. Nabila is a certified Educational and Family Counselor from Stanford University, USA, a member of the American Canadian Board Association for Professional Training, and a member of Tamkeen Al-Hadf Training and Consulting Institute in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Nabila Masoud's extensive academic experience, outstanding achievements, and leadership skills make her well-qualified to lead the Early Childhood Education Department at the Islamic University of Minnesota.
