Qatnani Chairs Department of Educational Sciences Meeting

Minnesota, July 9, 2024 - The faculty of the Department of Educational Sciences at the Islamic University in Minnesota held a meeting chaired by Dr. Doaa Qatnani on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

At the beginning of the meeting, the department chair, Dr. Marwan Bataineh, apologized for not being able to continue attending due to an emergency related to the death of a relative, leaving the task of chairing the meeting to the department's vice chair, Dr. Doaa Qatnani.

The meeting discussed the preparations for the first semester of the new academic year 2024-2025, from all related aspects. Dr. Qatnani emphasized the importance of adhering to the lecture times, dealing with new students in a good manner, activating the role of students during the lecture in discussions, explaining in clear Arabic, and presenting PowerPoint presentations or any other method to present the lecture.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Doaa Qatnani, the vice chair of the Department of Educational Sciences, Dr. Nourhan Salama, the administrative affairs officer at the College of Educational Sciences, and a number of faculty members of the Department of Educational Sciences.
