Department of Educational Administration Holds Expanded Meeting in Preparation for New Semester

In line with the university’s institutional efforts to enhance overall quality and achieve excellence in academic performance, the Department of Educational Administration at the College of Educational Sciences, Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, held an expanded meeting chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Hiba Abu Ayadah, with the participation of the department’s faculty members, to discuss academic updates and set organizational standards for the upcoming semester.

Dr. Hiba opened the meeting with a welcoming address, expressing her appreciation for the faculty’s efforts and emphasizing that a spirit of partnership and teamwork is the cornerstone of enhancing teaching practices. She highlighted that the upcoming phase includes strategic objectives that require collective efforts to ensure education of the highest quality and compliance with academic accreditation standards.

The meeting also featured a special welcome to Professor Dr. Mohammed Sharif and Dr. Lina Mustafa, newly joining the faculty. Dr. Hiba stressed that attracting scientific expertise strengthens the department’s ability to develop its research and educational outputs and opens avenues for innovative academic initiatives.

During the session, detailed PowerPoint presentations were used to review the distribution of courses for the first semester and the faculty members assigned to teach them, ensuring smooth workflow and effective implementation. The discussions also addressed mechanisms for enhancing the educational process, supporting scientific research, activating specialized departmental activities, and improving student services, while strengthening professional communication among faculty members, fostering a stimulating environment for creativity and excellence.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Hiba expressed pride in the faculty’s proactive participation and initiative, noting that upcoming plans will include development programs aimed at elevating the department’s academic and research standing and enhancing its presence within the college and university.
