Dean of Faculty Affairs Holds Meeting to Enhance Media College

On March 14, 2024, Dr. Marwan Batayneh, the Dean of Faculty Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, conducted an important meeting with the heads of departments in the Media College at the university. During the meeting, the key challenges affecting the educational process in the college and the problems faced by faculty members in this context were discussed. Additionally, the meeting addressed the best ways to develop work in the college by overcoming these challenges and issues.

The meeting was attended by a group of prominent figures in the college, including Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Abduljalil Al-Wazzan, the Dean of the college, Professor Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Wahati, the Vice Dean of the college, Professor Dr. Hanan Subhi Obaid, the Head of the Postgraduate Studies Department in the college, Dr. Sally Saad, the Deputy Head of the Postgraduate Studies Department, and Dr. Badeea Abdulqader, the Head of the Undergraduate Media Department. Dr. Norhan Salama, the Deputy Dean of Faculty Affairs for Administrative Affairs, who also serves as the Director of the Administrative Affairs Unit for the Colleges in the Deanship, also attended.

During the meeting, viewpoints and opinions were exchanged on ways to enhance the educational process in the Media College and overcome the existing challenges. Emphasis was placed on the importance of developing and updating study programs and enhancing scientific research in the college. Furthermore, the significance of providing a suitable and supportive learning environment for faculty members and students was underscored.
