Islamic University of Minnesota Opens Da'wah Center and Announces its Management Structure

During the New Student Welcome Ceremony, the Islamic University of Minnesota, the main center, announced the opening of the Da'wah Center and the appointment of Dr. Manal Mustafa as its director.

The announcement of the new center and its administrative structure came during the New Student Reception held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

The administrative structure of the center consists of Dr. Manal Mustafa - director of the center, Dr. Taha Hussein Al-Jawhari - deputy director of the center, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shoqairi - member, Dr. Ibrahim Salem - member, Dr. Idris Abdulrahman - member, and Dr. Seham Abdulbaqi – secretary.

Dr. Zainab Ali Bassiouni, Vice President of the University, commented on the opening of the center: "We congratulate ourselves and our esteemed students on the inauguration of the Islamic Dawa Center, which takes upon itself the task of spreading the Islamic call in English in addition to the Arabic language. We pray to Allah Almighty for the center's success."

The Da'wah Center is the sixth center to be established at the university, joining the previous five centers: The Media Center, the Training, Development and Community Programs Center, the Manuscripts and Heritage Revival Center, the Language and Translation Center, and the Academic Studies Center.
