The Da'wah Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota has announced the launch of a specialized training course in the English language, targeting university students and all individuals seeking to improve their language skills.
The course is scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 17, 2025, and will continue until September 28, 2025. Classes will be held twice a week, on Sundays and Thursdays, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Makkah time.
The course, which consists of 12 lectures followed by a final exam, will be delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Salem and managed by Dr. Zakaria Ibrahim, the center's Deputy Director. The lectures will be conducted in both Arabic and English to ensure maximum benefit for participants.
The course features a simplified and engaging curriculum suitable for all levels and ages, with no prior background in the language required. It focuses on the four core skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing, through interactive lessons and practical training under the supervision of certified experts.
Upon completion, participants will receive an accredited certificate from the Islamic University of Minnesota, an American university, which will qualify them for advanced courses in the future. The center has set a nominal registration fee of $25.
The center has opened registration and inquiries via WhatsApp.
