Islamic Da'wah Center Establishes Fatwa Department

Minnesota, August 12, 2024: The Islamic Da'wah Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota held a scientific lecture titled "The Negative influence of the English Language on the Chemistry of Muslim Thought," presented in English by Dr. Mohammed Al-Khalidi on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM Mecca time.

The lecture addressed the influence of the English language on Muslim thought, warning about some negative aspects that may arise from engaging with this language without careful consideration.

In a parallel move, the Da'wah Center announced the establishment of a "Fatwa Department," affirming its readiness to provide answers to all religious inquiries and clarify issues faced by Muslims.

The announcement regarding the creation of the department stated that its fatwas are based on the opinions of scholars and jurists of the Ummah, relying on the most accepted views according to Islamic law.

It is noteworthy that the services of the department are available in both Arabic and English through the following link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/DiIelvyo0NV0REjMillkv2

The establishment of the Fatwa Department and the hosting of the lecture are part of the Islamic Da'wah Center's efforts at the Islamic University of Minnesota to raise religious awareness and strengthen Islamic identity among students.
