Da'wah Center Organizes Interactive Lecture

The Da'wah Center of the Islamic University of Minnesota (Main Center) held an interactive lecture titled "Reflections on Contemplating the Qur'an: The Word Ihdina," delivered in Arabic by Dr. Jamila Khalif on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 9:00 PM Makkah time. The session was moderated by Dr. Siham Abdulbaqi, Secretary of the Center.

Dr. Jamila Khalif, a certified trainer with a PhD in Educational Administration, has extensive experience in conducting workshops and training courses, and holds numerous certifications and scientific achievements.

The lecture focused on the concept of guidance and misguidance, which lies at the heart of issues related to divine decree. Dr. Jamila explained that the greatest blessing that Allah decrees for a person is guidance, while the most severe trial is misguidance. She emphasized that all of God's prophets and revealed books agree that while God alone controls guidance and misguidance, it is up to the servant to seek and strive for guidance.

The lecture saw significant engagement from the attendees, deepening their understanding of the meanings of the Qur'an and the significance of the word Ihdina in the context of seeking divine guidance.
