Dean of Faculty of Economics Conducts Official Meetings to Prepare for the Second Semester
Dr. Sherine Mamoun, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, held an official meeting with department heads and their deputies at the college on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
During the meeting, several topics were discussed, including the mechanism for monitoring the work of department heads by professors, as well as updates related to course descriptions and the peer-reviewed scientific journal "Economics and Business Administration."
The meeting concluded with the introduction of new secretaries for the college's departments, as stated by Ms. Banan Al-Maqrami, the administrative affairs officer at the college.
The following day, Wednesday, December 6, the dean held a special meeting with faculty members at the college, where she welcomed them and listened to their opinions and the challenges they may face during the educational process.
Two days later, on December 8, Dr. Sherine Mamoun held a third special meeting with the college's students, where she welcomed them and encouraged them to commit, work diligently, and avoid absenteeism. A discussion was then opened regarding potential issues in the second semester and ways to address them.
In addition, separate meetings were held for department heads and faculty members in each department. A meeting for the Islamic Economics department took place on Thursday, December 7, while the Accounting department met on the same day under the leadership of Dr. Rufaida Qamar Al-Dawla. Likewise, the Business Administration department held a meeting on Friday, chaired by Dr. Mohammed Younis Hamida. These meetings discussed the preparations of the departments for the second semester.
