College of Economics Holds Third Meeting with Students

The College of Economics and Business Administration at the Islamic University of Minnesota held its third meeting with students on Friday, July 12, 2024. The meeting was attended by Dean of the College Dr. Shireen Mamoun, Vice Dean Dr. Hiyam Al-Zaabi, Head of Administrative Affairs Ms. Banan Saif, and College Registrar Ms. Duha Al-Malqi.

Dr. Shireen Mamoun opened the meeting by welcoming the students and explaining the absence and deprivation regulations, distribution of semester grades, and provided them with an overview of the college, its council, and department secretaries. She also invited postgraduate students to contribute their research to the college's refereed journal.

Dr. Hiyam Al-Zaabi then gave a speech welcoming the students and urging them to be diligent and hardworking, to study and persevere.

After giving the students an opportunity to speak, several of them participated by asking questions and making suggestions, which were answered and discussed.

Dr. Shireen Mamoun concluded the meeting by thanking the students for their attendance and wishing them a successful semester.

It is worth noting that this is the third meeting that the college has held with its students at the beginning of the first semester of the new academic year 24-2025.
