Department of Islamic Economics and Banking Holds Preparatory Academic Meeting

The Department of Islamic Economics and Banking at the College of Economics and Business at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main center, held a preparatory academic meeting on Tuesday evening, June 23, 2025, chaired by Dr. Hiyam Al-Zoubi, head of the department, with the participation of faculty members, as part of the preparations for the start of the first semester of the academic year 2025/2026.
Dr. Hiyam Al-Zou'bi opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, expressing her gratitude for the efforts made by faculty members during previous semesters and praising their academic commitment and fruitful interaction with students. She also welcomed the addition of several new faculty members to the department, emphasizing that their presence represents a qualitative addition that enhances the academic and research journey of the department.
