Dr. Norhan Salama Leads Administrative Affairs Meeting
Dr. Norhan Salama, Director of the Administrative Affairs Unit for the Colleges, held a meeting with the unit's team members on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Several important issues were discussed during the meeting, and PowerPoint was used as a tool to facilitate the proceedings.
The agenda included discussions on the functioning of the colleges and their related administrative matters, as well as the team's mechanism for monitoring these issues. The meeting addressed guidelines regarding the monthly faculty headcount and the submission of statistics to the Statistics Unit in coordination with the Faculty Affairs Deanship.
Furthermore, the meeting covered guidelines for coordinating obituary announcements with the Media Center, the preparation of certificates of appreciation for faculty members, and their submission to the Media Center. The topic of promotions and renewals of appointments for faculty members, in coordination with the Faculty Affairs Deanship, was also discussed. Additionally, the meeting addressed the regulations governing publication in university-specific groups.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to hold another session in the presence of Dr. Marwan Bataineh, the Dean of Faculty Affairs, who graced the meeting with his attendance.
