Dean of Faculty Affairs Welcomes New Faculty Members

A new constellation of professors and doctors has joined the Islamic University in Minnesota, where Dr. Marwan Bataineh, Dean of Faculty Affairs, welcomed these new members at the university's main campus. These members represent various specializations and departments within the university.

In the College of Islamic Studies, six doctors joined, specifically Dr. Ayman Mus'ed, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Amir, and Associate Prof. Dr. Afaf Makkawi, who joined the Department of the Holy Qur'an and its Sciences. Dr. Ahmed Abdulsattar joined the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles, Dr. Majed Al-Salmi joined the Department of Creed and Contemporary Schools of Thought, and Dr. Eid Harahsha joined the Department of Prophetic Tradition.

In the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Networking in the College of Computer Science and Information Systems, four members joined, namely Dia'a Al-Haq Khalifa, Dr. Hani Mohammed Hassan Al-Houbi, Dr. Samah Mohammed Othman Hassan, and Dr. Mish'al Al-Salman.

In the College of Economics and Business Administration, Dr. Fairouz Bahlaq joined the Department of Islamic Economics, and Associate Prof. Dr. Manal Adam joined the Department of Business Administration.

There is also one doctor who joined the College of Sharia and Law, which is Associate Prof. Dr. Al-Bashir from Tunisia, who joined the Department of Law.

The new members expressed their happiness and pride in joining the Islamic University in Minnesota through posts on the main faculty members' WhatsApp group. All academic members of the university also welcomed the new doctors through similar posts in the same group.

Dr. Marwan Bataineh, Dean of Faculty Affairs, emphasized the importance of including new doctors as part of the academic development plan adopted by the university's leadership.

In another context, a meeting was held between the Dean of Faculty Affairs and the heads of departments in the College of Media at the university. During the meeting, the most important challenges facing the educational process in the college and the problems encountered by faculty members were discussed. The best ways to develop work in the college by overcoming these challenges and problems were also discussed.

Several key figures in the university attended the meeting, including the college dean, vice dean, head of the graduate studies department, deputy head of the graduate studies department, and head of the media department at the undergraduate level. A representative from the Dean's Office of Faculty Affairs also attended.
