Islamic University Celebrates Faculty Achievements and Welcomes New Members
The Islamic University of Minnesota (IUM) has recently celebrated the achievements of several faculty members and welcomed new additions to its teaching staff.
Dean of Faculty Affairs, Dr. Marwan Zayed Bataineh, congratulated a number of doctors on their academic accomplishments, expressing the university's pride and appreciation. They are; Dr. Hiyam Sami Al-Zoabi, Vice Dean of the College of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Head of the Department of Islamic Economics, was recognized for her research paper on "Cryptocurrency and the Financing of Terrorism" published in the Journal of Extremism and Armed Groups, Prof. Hanan Sobhi Obeid, Head of the Media Department for Graduate Studies, was acknowledged for her book "Intellectual Insights in Leading Educational Affairs" published by IUM, Dr. Amir Khalifa Ibrahim Ramadan, Faculty member, was commended for his book "Guarantees of Public Employees before Investigative Bodies" published by IUM, Dr. Mohammed Said Salah Athamneh, Faculty member in the Department of History and Islamic Civilization, was recognized for his book "The Followers of the Companions in Medina" published by IUM, Dr. Omar Al-Sir Al-Hassan Mohammed, Faculty member in the Department of Accounting, was acknowledged for his two research papers published in the International Journal of Advanced and Applied Sciences, Dr. Zaid Nawaf Al-Duwairi: Faculty member in the Department of Islamic Economics, was commended for his research paper "Utilizing Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Developing Waqf Projects" published in the prestigious Beit magazine, and Dr. Abdullah Hemmat Khalifa, Department of Islamic Studies in English, was recognized for representing IUM with research papers at several scientific conferences.
IUM also welcomed several new doctors to its faculty, including; Dr. Dhilal Abu Al-Ola and Dr. Aya Al-Absi (Department of Educational Administration), Dr. Ammar Al-Dhalaeen, Dr. Reem Tawfiq, and Dr. Sayed Ahmed Mohammed Mohammed Al-Bayoumi (Department of Da'wah and Islamic Culture), Dr. Sahar Al-Samadi (Department of Arabic Language), Dr. Shimaa Abdel Ghaffar (Department of Law), Dr. Noha Salim, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qalam, and Dr. Bakri Sharaf El-Din (Department of Islamic Studies English), Dr. Asim Hassan (Department of Accounting), Dr. Samira Al-Ziyoud and Dr. Mamdouh Al-Anzi (Department of Educational Sciences Bachelor), Dr. Fawzia Al-Taha (Department of Business Administration), Dr. Abdulmohsen Aqila and Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim (Department of Media Graduate Studies), Dr. Safaa Gharib (Department of Media Bachelor), and Mr. Marwan Al-Awaisheh (Quality and Development Unit).
