Deputy Provost Chairs Meeting for Administrative Affairs Team
Dr. Zainab Basyouni, Deputy Provost of the Islamic University of Minnesota, held a meeting for members of the administrative affairs unit for the colleges, attended by the unit director, the Deputy Dean for Faculty Affairs, Dr. Nourhan Salama, who is responsible for administrative affairs in the College of Educational Sciences.
During the meeting, several topics were discussed, including expressing gratitude to all administrative affairs officials for their efforts and recognizing their roles and responsibilities in managing the administrative affairs of the colleges.
The discussion also covered the removal of inactive faculty members and the completion of faculty files in coordination with the Dean of Faculty Affairs, Dr. Marwan Bataineh, along with submitting these files to the Information Technology Department for processing and uploading them to the academic system's online portal.
Administrative officials emphasized their commitment to archiving, continuously updating the database, and managing all relevant information for each faculty member in their files. They also committed to responding to faculty inquiries and periodically redistributing instructions, as well as addressing queries from students and college and department secretaries.
Deputy Provost Dr. Zainab Basyouni stressed the importance of the administrative officials' role in overseeing the colleges, secretaries, and the WhatsApp group for the student forum, including the responsibility to delete any inappropriate posts in collaboration with the forum supervisors.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Taher Alwan representing the administrative affairs of the College of Arts and Humanities, Ms. Amal Mohammed Qasem responsible for administrative affairs in the College of Islamic Studies, Ms. Banan Saif responsible for administrative affairs in the College of Economics and Business Administration, Dr. Badi'a Abdulqader responsible for administrative affairs in the College of Media, Ms. Mariam Al-Maqrami responsible for administrative affairs in the College of Sharia and Law, Ms. Khadija Radman responsible for administrative affairs in the College of Development Studies, and Ms. Hanadi Abdullah responsible for administrative affairs in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology.
