Meeting of Administrative Affairs Unit of Colleges

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, a meeting was held for the team of the Administrative Affairs Unit of the colleges under the Deanship of Faculty Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Maha Mohammed, the new director of the unit, in the presence of Dr. Noorhan Salama, Dean of Faculty Affairs and Administrative Affairs Officer of the College of Educational Sciences.

The meeting began with praise and gratitude to Allah, followed by blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad. A warm welcome was extended to Dr. Noorhan Salama, who was commended for her continuous support. The unit director also welcomed the team members, appreciating their efforts.

During the meeting, Ms. Maha Mohammed emphasized the importance of the role of the Administrative Affairs Officer, stressing the need for effective presence alongside the college dean and department heads. She called for adherence to time management and for notifying the unit director of any emergencies to ensure uninterrupted workflow.

The unit director also urged related university entities to provide opportunities for team members to innovate and develop within the framework of existing laws and regulations.

For her part, Dr. Noorhan Salama praised the administrative team’s performance, highlighting key areas for focus to enhance and develop administrative work.

The meeting included discussions on the workflow within the colleges, administrative challenges, the difficulties faced by team members, and an open discussion for exchanging ideas on developmental initiatives.

The meeting concluded with thanks to all attendees for their active participation, reaffirming the commitment to continued collaboration and teamwork to achieve the best results.

Also present at the meeting were administrative officers from various colleges, including: Ms. Hanadi Abdullah (College of Computer Science and Information Technology), Ms. Khadeeja Radman (College of Developmental Studies), Ms. Banan Saif (College of Economics and Business Administration), Ms. Anisa Othman (College of Islamic Studies), Dr. Badeea Abdulkader (College of Media), and Ms. Mariam Mohammed (College of Sharia and Law).
