Training Workshop on " Three Boxes for Addressing Educational Loss"

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance academic quality, the Quality and Development Unit, in collaboration with the Deanship of Faculty Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, organized a training workshop titled "The Three Boxes for Addressing Educational Loss." The workshop took place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 8:00 to 10:00 PM Mecca time, via Zoom and Facebook.
The workshop was presented by Ms. Lamya Al-Alawi, a master's degree researcher, under the supervision of Dr. Fatima Jumaa Al-Wahsh, Director of the Quality and Development Unit. Dr. Zinab Basyouni stated that this workshop is part of the university's efforts to enhance academic quality and encourage students to actively engage in the educational process. She praised Ms. Lamya, noting that she is an exemplary model of creative students.
Dr.Zinab also expressed her gratitude to Dr. Fatima Jumaa Al-Wahsh for her wise management of the workshop and her continuous support in developing students' skills and empowering them to take effective roles in their academic and professional environments. She mentioned that providing students with the opportunity to present workshops and lectures is part of the university's vision to prepare confident academic and professional leaders.
For her part, Dr. Nourhan Salama, Dean of Faculty Affairs, described the workshop as "more than wonderful" and thanked all participants for making it a success.
It is noteworthy that this is the first workshop of its kind presented by a graduate student, and it received widespread acclaim from faculty members, with video links shared across all university pages.
