Deanship of Faculty Affairs Holds Meeting with Administrative Affairs Unit of Colleges

In the presence of the Deputy University Provost, Dr. Zainab Basyouni, the Deanship of Faculty Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main center, held a meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, with the Administrative Affairs Unit of the colleges.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nourhan Salama, Dean of Faculty Affairs, with the assistance of Ms. Maha Mohammed, Director of the Administrative Affairs Unit. The meeting lasted for an hour and a half, during which various topics outlined in the meeting agenda were discussed, notably the establishment of an administrative follow-up plan for the colleges. An action plan was developed for follow-up during the first semester, emphasizing active participation, timely completion of tasks, and enhancing the social and ethical aspects of the team.
Important points were clarified for the team by reviewing several aspects that need to be considered to ensure effective and efficient workflow. The team was also given the opportunity to raise any challenges or obstacles they faced, and solutions were agreed upon to address them.
Additionally, the general frameworks followed by the team in dealing with participating units were clarified, aiming to unify efforts and achieve common goals.
Attending the meeting, in addition to Dr. Zainab, Dr. Nourhan, and Ms. Maha, who served as the minute taker, were all the college directors: Dr. Badia Abdulqader from the College of Media, Ms. Banan Saif from the College of Economics and Business Administration, Ms. Henadi Abdullah from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Ms. Khadija Radman from the College of Development Studies, Ms. Maryam Mohammed from the College of Sharia and Law, and Ms. Anisa Ahmed Othman from the College of Islamic Studies.
