Deanship of Faculty Affairs Announces Recognition for Distinguished Members
Islamic University of Minnesota - Dr. Nourhan Salama, the Dean of Faculty Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, has announced two new initiatives to support and appreciate the efforts of the academic staff.
Dr. Salama stated that the deanship is in the process of preparing official, accredited certificates of experience for every faculty member who has taught a course. She added that the deanship, in collaboration with the Deanship of Academic Affairs, college deans, and department heads, intends to honor faculty members who have demonstrated excellence and commitment to delivering their lectures professionally and regularly during the first semester.
This announcement was made in a memorandum addressed to faculty members, in which the Dean urged them to prepare their final exams and submit them to their respective department heads.
The memorandum also noted that the last day of classes for the current semester will be Thursday, September 25, 2025. It is worth mentioning that the final exams for the semester will begin on Saturday, October 4, 2025, according to the approved university calendar.
