Launch of the Graduate Affairs Association: Enhancing Communication and Professional Development

The Graduate Affairs Deanship, in collaboration with the Media Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota, United States, organized a special event to launch the "Graduate Affairs Association." The event took place on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, and was broadcasted through the official channels and pages of the university.

The event included a presentation of the vision of the Graduate Affairs Deanship, which aims to establish a mutual and sustainable relationship between graduates and the university. This will be achieved by providing programs to develop their skills and enhance academic programs that meet the requirements of the community. The objectives of the deanship were highlighted, including the establishment of a permanent academic knowledge network, creating an environment for professional development and cultural and social exchange, and promoting sustainable university spirit.

An introductory video was shown about the role of the Graduate Affairs Deanship, which assists graduates in verifying graduation documents and establishing the Graduate Affairs Association to provide academic and professional support. The event announced the creation of a dedicated WhatsApp group for the Graduate Affairs Association, inviting all graduates to join.

The conditions for joining the association were clarified, including obtaining an academic degree from the university and adhering to the regulations and rules of the association and the university in general. Voluntary contribution to the activities and events of the association was also emphasized.

The event concluded with thanks to the participants and the Graduate Affairs Deanship for their efforts.
