Islamic University Announces Restructuring of Information Technology Department

The Islamic University of Minnesota (IUM) has announced a restructuring of its Information Technology (IT) Department, aimed at improving and developing the services provided to students, faculty, and staff.

 Key changes include: 

Ms. Marwa Qasem Abdulwasea appointed as Director of the IT Department, while retaining responsibility for data and electronic archiving on the university's official website.

Engineer Ali Mustafa appointed as Deputy Director of the IT Department, while retaining responsibility for technical affairs on the university's official website.

Engineer Al-Hareth Mohammed Noaman appointed as Head of Technical Support for Undergraduate Studies, while retaining responsibility for technical affairs on the university's official website.

Engineer Mohammed Al-Shawa confirmed as Head of the Technology Department.

Dr. Abdulrahman Hamoud confirmed as Head of Technical Support for Graduate Studies.

Engineer Hamed Abdulqader appointed as Head of the Programming Department.

Engineer Tareq Abdulqader appointed as Head of the IUM Application.

Mr. Abdullah Noaman appointed as Head of the Translation Department.

This restructuring comes after a series of tangible achievements made by the IT Department team led by Ms. Marwa Qasem Abdulwasea, which received high praise from the university's vice president, deputy vice president, deans, department heads, and administrative unit directors.
