Deanship of Information Technology Announces Completion of Curriculum Plans Page on Electronic Portal

As part of its efforts to design a new electronic portal for the academic system, the Deanship of Information Technology at the Islamic University of Minnesota has announced the completion of the curriculum plans page for all colleges and departments.

In a post shared with faculty members on the WhatsApp platform on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the deanship stated that the page features easy navigation and browsing through its content and services, and it is linked to the new electronic portal.

The deanship explained that this achievement followed the completion of uploading all course titles and codes to the new electronic system, which includes approximately 1,400 courses for all colleges and departments. Additionally, all updated curriculum plan files have been uploaded after being reviewed and formatted in PDF, with the option to download these files from the curriculum plans page on the university's official website.

The deanship affirmed that this step is significant among the many initiatives being undertaken by the university, in collaboration with its technical team in the IT deanship, to complete the launch of the new electronic system, which aims to be one of the most efficient educational electronic systems at the global university level.

The deanship also noted that the Curriculum and Study Plans Unit is working in coordination with internal curriculum committees in the colleges and departments to complete the course descriptions, which is considered an important step that will have a positive impact in this area.

In conclusion, the deanship expressed gratitude to its technical team of skilled engineers for their extensive efforts in enhancing the university's electronic system. It also thanked the councils of the colleges and departments, as well as the teaching staff who have been reviewing and continuously updating the curriculum plans.
