Researcher Ibrahim Al-Shenawy Awarded PhD in Prophetic Tradition

On Monday, May 27, 2024, researcher Ibrahim Al-Ashmawy Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Shenawy was awarded a PhD degree in the sciences of Prophetic Tradition (Sunnah), following the public discussion held by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Islamic University of Minnesota Main Center, College of Islamic Studies - Department of Prophetic Tradition and its Sciences.

The discussion took place at 8:00 PM Mecca time, for the researcher's thesis titled "Ithaf Ahl Al-Islam bi Khususiyyat Al-Siyam li Ibn Hajar Al-Haitami" (Enriching the Muslims with the Specifics of Fasting: A Critical Study and Verification) , which was the culmination of the requirements for the academic degree.

The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Yasser Abdulraouf Mohammed Abu Quta, Professor of Hadith at Umm Al-Qura University, as supervisor and rapporteur, Dr. Akram Radwan Al-Makki, Faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as an internal examiner, and Dr. Ibrahim Abdulati, Professor of Hadith at the University of Sharjah, as an external examiner.
