Head of the Department of Creed Holds Meeting
Dr. Imad Al-Din Al-Ajili, Head of the Department of Creed and Contemporary Schools at the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, held a meeting with the faculty members of the department on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10:30 PM Mecca time.
The meeting lasted for half an hour and was attended by faculty members as well as the administrative affairs officer for the College of Islamic Studies, Ms. Anisa Ahmed Othman Al-Zikri. Ms. Anisa opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, then explained the purpose of the meeting before Dr. Al-Ajili began discussing the agenda items.
The meeting emphasized the necessity of completing the compensatory lectures during this week, as well as preparing the exams within three days, ensuring the existence of two versions: a main and a backup, and the need to review them thoroughly. Dr. Al-Ajili also highlighted the importance of having the exams in a Word document.
He announced that the following week would see the distribution of schedules for the upcoming semester, emphasizing that the distribution of teaching costs among faculty members would be based on a fair balance. He also noted that the Department of Creed is operating smoothly and in a calm atmosphere, reflecting the brotherly ties between the department head and the faculty members.
