Course on "Explanation of the Gift of Children"

The Quranic reading center affiliated with the Islamic University of Minnesota held a specialized course on "Explanation of the Gift of Children and obtaining a license for it." The course was presented by Dr. Hadeel Mohammed Abdulazim Afeefi, a faculty member at the university, the general supervisor of the reading center, and a member of the Egyptian Reciters Syndicate.

The course, which was exclusively for women, targeted female students of knowledge interested in memorizing and teaching the Holy Quran. Sessions were held daily from 4 PM to 5 PM Mecca time, over five days during three weeks, starting Sunday, 26th of Rajab 1446 AH (January 26, 2025) and concluding on Sunday, 10th of Sha'ban 1446 AH (February 9, 2025).

The administration of the reading center granted attendees accredited licenses after meeting specific requirements, which included perfect attendance and passing both oral and written tests at the end of the course, along with a nominal fee to cover the cost of printing and sending the licenses.
