Gift of Waqf Al-Wafa to Supervisors of Muqri Al-Jamiah Competition

Doctor Abdulrazeq Al-Bakri, Dean of the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, announced a "blessing" for all participants and organizers of the annual Quran competition (Muqri Al-Jamiah), which saw a large turnout from around the world in its second edition.

The dean revealed that one of the students participating in the competition gifted several shares of Waqf Al-Wafa, affiliated with the Social Development Association within the boundaries of the Holy Mosque, as a continuous charity to the university's vice president, Dr. Omar Al-Maqarmi, the general supervisor of the competition, Dr. Abdulrazeq Al-Bakri, the general coordinator of the competition, Dr. Ghada Al-Bahnasi, and all judges involved in the competition.

It is noteworthy that this announcement was made during the ceremony honoring the winners of Muqria Al-Jamiah competition, held on Friday, 15 Sha'ban 1446 AH, corresponding to February 14, 2025.
