Language and Translation Center Launches Professional Online Course in Legal Translation
In its continued efforts to enhance specialized linguistic competencies and align them with market needs, the Language and Translation Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota (Main Center) has announced the launch of its professional online course in legal translation, supervised by a group of academic experts and specialists in the field.
The course aims to equip participants with precise skills in translating contracts, regulations, and legal documents through a training program that combines theoretical foundations with practical application, enabling learners to attain professionalism and excellence in legal translation.
The program is delivered by Dr. Marwa Hassan Al-Fard, Assistant Professor of English and translation expert, ensuring high-quality academic content aligned with recognized professional standards.
The course runs for five weeks, with two online sessions per week, at a symbolic registration fee of only $50, providing a broad opportunity for enrollment and benefit.
It targets English language students, students in legal and Islamic studies programs, and all those aspiring to enter the field of legal translation, which is considered one of the most in-demand translation specialties in today’s job market.
