Latin American Studies Center Organizes an Interactive Lecture on Heritage

The Latin American Studies Center affiliated with the College of Arts and Humanities at the Islamic University of Minnesota hosted a distinguished lecture titled "A Heritage Window: Traditional Oil Presses… Authenticity That Challenges the Age," delivered by the prominent novelist Dr. Sara Al-Shammas.

The lecture discussed the importance of traditional oil presses and their role in the economy and culture today, addressing how to balance preserving authenticity while keeping up with modernization, supported by live examples and practical insights. The event also included an interactive dialogue with Dr. Sara, who is considered an expert in the fields of literature and heritage.
