Ashraf Mahmoud Earns PhD in Business Administration

Researcher Ashraf Rifaat Mahmoud has been awarded a PhD in Business Administration from the Department of Business Administration at the Islamic University of Minnesota, following a public defense of his dissertation titled "The Role of Governance in Reducing Corruption in Public Sector Institutions in Northern and Eastern Syria."
The defense was overseen by the university's Graduate Studies Deanery, with the session held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 10:00 PM Mecca time. The defense was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Younis, Head of the Business Administration Department, with Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Shamiri serving as the supervisor, and Dr. Khaled Basreeda as the internal examiner. Additionally, Prof. Mamdouh Mustafa Halawa, Executive Director of the Quality Studies Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt, participated as the external examiner.
