Deanship of Graduate Studies Holds Two Seminar Sessions

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center held two seminar sessions during the month of November. The first session took place on Thursday, November 9, 2023, in the Accounting Department of the College of Economics and Business Administration. The purpose of the session was to discuss a research plan aiming to obtain a Ph.D. in Financial Analysis. The research plan was prepared by the researcher Amani Abu Bakr Hussain Al-Shatari. The committee for the discussion consisted of Dr. Rufaida Qamar Al-Dawla Mohammed, the head of the Accounting Department and the committee chairperson, Dr. Sherine Ma'moun, the Dean of the College of Economics and Business Administration as a member, and Dr. Abdurrahman Ahmed Rateb and Dr. Ala'a Al-Din Ahmed as committee members.

The second session was held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, in the Family Counseling Department of the College of Education Sciences. The purpose of the session was to discuss a research plan aiming to obtain a Ph.D. in Family Interaction Patterns. The research plan was prepared by the researcher Mohammed Abdullatif Husain Badr. The committee for the discussion consisted of Dr. Mohammed Shatyat, the head of the Family Counseling Department and the committee chairperson, and Dr. Mohib Al-Tarifi and Dr. Hiyam Fathi as committee members.

Dr. Yasmin Abu Shabana, the Director of the Graduate Studies Deanship, indicated that there are other plans that require necessary amendments, and they are currently in the process of being amended. Seminar sessions will be held in December to address these plans.
