Academic Committee Approves Research Plan on Maritime Transport Regulations
Minnesota, October 12, 2024 – An academic committee from the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Foundations, chaired by Dr. Salah Ahmed Farraj, has approved the research plan prepared by researcher Mahmoud Mohammed Omar. The study aims to examine the jurisprudential rulings and regulations of maritime transport at the port of Mombasa.
The approval took place during a seminar session held on Saturday, where the committee discussed the details of the research under the supervision of the Graduate Studies Dean at the Islamic University of Minnesota, College of Sharia and Law.
The discussion committee included Dr. Mohammed Al-Shaqaldi, Professor Murad Ouda, and Dr. Amal Ghoneim, who expressed their appreciation for the topic and its significance in contemporary jurisprudence.
