Approval of Doctoral Research Plan in Jurisprudence and Its Foundations

The Graduate Studies Dean's Office at the Islamic University of Minnesota, Main Center - College of Sharia and Law, held a seminar session on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 9:00 PM Mecca time.

During the session, the research plan prepared by researcher Mohammed Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Harbi was approved. The study aims to conduct a comparative jurisprudential analysis of the opinions of Abu Ubaid Al-Turtushi regarding the mediation between Malik and Ibn Al-Qasim in the issues they disagreed upon from the issues of the Mudawwana. This research is part of Al-Harbi's efforts to obtain a doctoral degree from the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Foundations.

The session was chaired by Dr. Salah Faraj, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Foundations, with Professor Suad Mohammed Beltaji and Dr. Mustafa Ahmed serving as committee members.
