Researcher Hala Earns Ph.D. in Quranic Studies
Researcher Hala bint Abdulfattah Mohammed Abdulrahman has obtained a Ph.D. degree in the Quran and its Sciences. Her scientific dissertation focused on the topic of "Dialogue in the Quran: Its Culture and Social and Civilizational Effects."
The public session to discuss the dissertation was held at the Department of the Quran and its Sciences in the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Campus. The session took place on Monday, 10th of Rajab, 1445 AH, corresponding to January 22nd, 2024, at 8:00 PM Mecca time.
The examination committee consisted of Professor Walid bin Idris Al-Menisi, the President of the Islamic University of Minnesota, who served as the supervisor and the chairman of the committee. Dr. Saad Al-Din Mohammed Kamal Raziqa Hassanein, a faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, participated as an internal examiner. Professor Ziad Ahmed Al-Haj, the Head of the Recitation Department at Jinan University in Lebanon, served as an external examiner.
