Approval of Research Plan for PhD Student Hussam Al-Deeb in Islamic Studies

Following a seminar session held on Saturday, July 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM Mecca time, under the supervision of the Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, the research plan of student Hussam Abdulhakim Al-Deeb was approved as part of his efforts to obtain a PhD from the Department of Islamic Studies in English at the College of Islamic Studies.

The research plan includes a study titled "The Veracity of the Evidence for Muhammad's Prophetic Status: An Extensive Analysis Based on the Qur'an, Sunnah, and Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah Methodology."

The plan's discussion committee consisted of Dr. Manal Mustafa, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies in English (Chair), Dr. Marwa Hassan (Member), and Dr. Muhyi Al-Din Hamza (Member).
