Master Thesis Defense on Unifying Arabic Curricula in Somalia
The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Main Center of the Islamic University of Minnesota organized a scientific defense via the "Zoom" platform on the evening of Friday, January 2, 2026, for the master's thesis submitted by researcher Aisha Awil Ali, titled "A Proposed Vision for Unifying Arabic Language Curricula in General Education in Somalia."
The thesis, prepared as part of the requirements for obtaining a Master's degree in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at the College of Educational Sciences, falls within the framework of providing a scientific vision aimed at unifying Arabic language teaching curricula in Somalia. The study seeks to achieve integration between educational content and the country's linguistic and cultural identity.
The defense committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Talat Mohammed Al-Dardir, Head of the Curriculum and Instruction Department.
