Deanship of Graduate Studies Holds Academic Seminar to Discuss Research Proposal
The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota – Main Center, in collaboration with the College of Sharia and Law and the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Fundamentals, organized an academic seminar to discuss the research proposal submitted by Mojeeb Adin Salah, titled “Major Jurisprudential Rules and Their Applications in Contemporary Medical Issues,” as part of the requirements for his doctoral studies.
The seminar was held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, via Zoom, with the participation of the discussion committee chaired by Professor Dr. Salah Faraj, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Fundamentals, and committee members Dr. Mohammed Al-Wardi and Dr. Al-Basheer Mohammed.
The session featured an in-depth academic discussion on the key aspects of the research proposal and its scientific and practical significance, particularly in linking major jurisprudential rules with contemporary medical developments. The committee provided a series of methodological observations and recommendations aimed at refining the proposal and enhancing its academic value.
This seminar is part of the Deanship of Graduate Studies’ ongoing efforts to support rigorous scientific research and foster an interactive academic environment that prepares qualified researchers capable of addressing contemporary issues through a sound scientific and methodological approach.
