The Islamic University in Minnesota (Main Center) has announced the appointment of Dr. Jehan Al-Taher to the position of Vice Dean for Graduate Studies. In line with parallel institutional directions, Dr. Zainab Ali Bassiouni, Vice President of the University, emphasized in an official communication the importance of enhancing institutional cooperation with the Digital Library Unit and scientific journals. She highlighted their role as a fundamental pillar for documenting scientific output and supporting the university's research presence. Dr. Bassiouni stressed the necessity of transitioning from individual efforts to organized institutional collaboration to ensure the professional archiving and publication of research, thereby strengthening the university's research standing.

On another front, the Digital Library Unit, under the signature of its director Mr. Mohammed Maki Al-Taher, issued a circular addressed to college deans, department heads, and faculty members. The circular called for active contribution to enriching digital content by nominating and submitting research and scientific materials for publication and archiving. It confirmed the unit's readiness to provide necessary technical and procedural support, noting that this cooperation will be considered in academic and institutional performance evaluations.
