Mohammed Adel Earns Ph.D. in Law

Researcher Mohammed Adel Mohammed Anwer has obtained a Ph.D. in Law from the College of Sharia and Law at the Islamic University of Minnesota, USA. His dissertation was titled "Alternative Measures to Imprisonment to Mitigate the Negative Effects of Deprivation of Liberty Sentences."

The public defense session for his dissertation took place on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 9:00 PM Mecca time. The examination committee was composed of Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdel Maqsoud, the Head of the Law Department and Director of Legal Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, serving as the supervisor; Dr. Ahmed Ghalib Al-Nebihi, a faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, serving as the internal examiner; and Dr. Ihab Talaat Abdelkhaleq, an adjunct faculty member at the Faculty of Law, Tanta University, serving as the external examiner.
