Graduate Studies Deanery Holds Scientific Seminar to Discuss Two PhD Research Proposals
 
The Deanery of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, represented by the College of Educational Sciences / Department of Educational Administration, held a scientific seminar on Sunday evening, March 1, 2026, via the Zoom platform. The seminar was dedicated to discussing two PhD research proposals, with the participation of a specialized academic committee and a distinguished group of scholars and interested attendees.
The seminar reviewed the first research proposal titled “Change Management at Kobani University Towards Quality and Performance Excellence: A Proposed Model”, presented by researcher Niroz Ismail Al-Muslim. The study focused on mechanisms for developing institutional performance according to modern change management concepts and proposed a model aimed at enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and achieving institutional excellence.
The session also examined the second research proposal entitled “Participatory Leadership and Its Role in Enhancing Quality and Innovation in Intermediate Education Schools in the Madinah Region Within the Framework of the Kingdom’s Vision”, prepared by researcher Lamia Hussein Mohammed Al-Alawi. This study highlighted the role of participatory leadership in supporting the educational environment and fostering innovation in line with contemporary strategic directions.
The discussion committee was chaired by Assist. Prof. Dr. Hiba Tawfiq Abu Eyada, Head of the Department of Educational Administration, and included the membership of Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Hatamleh, Dr. Mohammed Al-Zoubi, Dr. Lamia Al-Khalayleh, and Dr. Sharif Mohammed. The committee members provided valuable scientific insights and methodological feedback that contributed to enriching and developing both proposals.
The seminar was held at 10:00 PM Mecca time via the Zoom platform, reflecting the Deanery’s commitment to supporting scientific research, enhancing the quality of graduate outcomes, and providing an interactive academic environment that develops researchers’ skills.
