The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota (Main Center), in cooperation with the Faculty of Educational Sciences and the Department of Family Counseling, organized a scientific seminar to discuss the research proposal entitled “Mood Swings in Women and Their Relationship to Emotional Intelligence and Family Adjustment.” The seminar was held as part of the graduate programs’ activities and within the University’s commitment to strengthening sound scientific methodology in the preparation of theses and dissertations.
The proposal was presented by researcher Ruba Mahmoud Sharif Dawood, a PhD candidate in the Department of Family Counseling. In her presentation, she outlined the general framework of the study, its scientific and practical significance, objectives, proposed methodology, and the key variables whose relationships the study seeks to examine in light of relevant academic literature.
The proposal was reviewed by a specialized academic committee chaired by Dr. Laith Ibrahim Al-Zawahreh, Head of the Department of Family Counseling, with the membership of Dr. Farhan Lafi Al-Nuwairan, Dr. Walaa Al-Sayeh, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Zawahreh. The committee members provided a range of scholarly observations and methodological guidance aimed at refining and strengthening the academic quality of the research plan.
