Scientific Seminar in Human Resource Management and Artificial Intelligence
The Deanery of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center (IUM) hosted, on Wednesday evening, March 11, 2026, a scientific seminar via the Zoom platform, organized by the College of Business Administration, represented by the Department of Human Resource Management. The seminar was dedicated to discussing a PhD research proposal, with the participation of a specialized academic committee and a number of professionals interested in modern management.
The research proposal, titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Applications on Developing Human Resource Management in Some Saudi Organizations in Light of Saudi Vision 2030 - An Applied Study on IMA Company”, submitted by researcher Mahmoud Bakr Mohammed Yusuf, focused on leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to enhance the efficiency of human resource management and examining their effects on institutional performance in light of the strategic transformations taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The discussion committee was chaired by Dr. Marwan Al-Abbas, Head of the Department of Human Resource Management, and included Dr. Walaa Majdi Rizq, Dr. Mabrouka Himmat, and Dr. Sameh Hassan as members. The committee provided constructive scientific and methodological feedback that contributed to developing the proposal and strengthening its practical dimensions.
The seminar was held at 11:00 PM Mecca time via Zoom, reflecting the Deanery’s efforts to support applied scientific research, keep pace with contemporary trends in the use of artificial intelligence in management, and enhance the quality of graduate outcomes while meeting the requirements of modern development.
