Researcher Karima Al-Saadi awarded Master's degree in Digital Media
Researcher Karima Kazem Hussein Al-Saadi has been awarded a Master's degree in Digital Media by a scientific committee chaired by Professor Hanan Subhi Obaid. The public defense of her thesis titled "The Role of Digital Media in Shaping Environmental Awareness among University Students in the United Arab Emirates" took place at the Department of Digital Media in the College of Media at the Islamic University of Minnesota.
The session was held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 9:00 PM Mecca time, with the presence of the Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota.
The supervisory scientific committee consisted of Professor Abdulsalam Saeed Mohammed Al-Wahati, Vice Dean of the College of Media and Professor of Journalism and Digital Media at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as the supervisor; Professor Hanan Subhi Obaid, Head of the Graduate Studies Department in the College of Media at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as the committee chair; Professor Abdulkareem Abduljalil Al-Wazzan, Dean of the College of Media and Professor of Journalism at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as the internal examiner; and Dr. Mustafa Abdulwahhab, Professor of Media and Deputy Minister at the National Media Authority in Egypt, as the external examiner.
