Statistical Overview of Graduate Studies Deanship Activities
The Statistics and Data Unit of the Media Center has released a statistical report on the activities of the Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main center, during the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024.
According to the statistics, the deanship held fifteen public sessions to discuss scientific dissertations within the framework of master's and doctoral studies. This included five sessions for both the College of Islamic Studies and the College of Economics and Business Administration, two sessions for both the College of Education Sciences and the College of Sharia and Law, and one session each for the College of Arts and Humanities and the College of Media.
The statistics also indicated that the deanship organized nineteen seminar sessions to discuss research proposals submitted by graduate students. This comprised six sessions for the College of Sharia and Law, four sessions for both the College of Economics and Business Administration and the College of Education Sciences, three sessions for the College of Arts and Humanities, and two sessions for the College of Islamic Studies.
It is worth mentioning that the statistics included a statistical column for the number of research proposals received by the deanship during the second semester, which amounted to 24 research plans.
