Scientific Committee Approves Research Plans for Ph.D. Students

The scientific committee, chaired by Dr. Mohammed Yunis Hamida, announced its approval of the research plans submitted by Ph.D. students Ali Mohammed Sheikh Al-Attas and Ahmed Muallem Hersi in the field of Business Administration at the University of Minnesota.

Ali Mohammed Sheikh Al-Attas' research plan focuses on "Leadership and Strategic Planning in Organizations - A Study on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia". The study aims to understand the impact of leadership and strategic planning on the performance and success of small and medium-sized organizations in Saudi Arabia.

Ahmed Muallem Hersi's research plan centers around "The Impact of Organizational Learning Characteristics on Achieving Organizational Excellence - An Applied Study on the Peace, Training, and Consulting Center in Djibouti." The study aims to examine how the implementation of organizational learning characteristics in the mentioned center can contribute to achieving organizational excellence and sustainable development.

A seminar session was held at the Graduate Studies Dean's Office at the Islamic University of Minnesota, in collaboration with the College of Economics and Business Administration, Department of Business Administration, to discuss the two research plans. The committee approved the plans on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 7:00 PM Mecca Standard Time.
