Hamed Mohammed Qasim Earns a PhD in Creed
Hamed Mohammed bin Mohammed Qasim has been awarded a PhD in Creed following the defense of his scientific dissertation titled "The Approach of Sheikh Jamal al-Din al-Qasimi in Responding to the Beliefs of Christians through his Interpretation 'Mahasin al-Ta'wil'."
The Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, specifically the College of Islamic Studies - Department of Creed and Contemporary Schools of Thought, held a public session to discuss the student's dissertation on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 9:00 PM Mecca Time.
The defense committee consisted of Dr. Mohammed Abdulmonem Ahmed Al-Ghandour, a faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, serving as the supervisor. Professor Dr. Emad Al-Deen Al-Ajili, Head of the Department of Creed and Contemporary Schools of Thought at the Islamic University of Minnesota, chaired the committee. Dr. Amer Saleem Al-Mashhrawi, a faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, participated as the internal examiner. Dr. Khalaf Mohammed Matwally, Assistant Professor of Creed and Contemporary Schools of Thought at Khatam Al-Mursalin University, served as the external examiner.
